After clearing it, i'm of the opinion that some of the new skills or changed skills were completely pointless. Some Grand Spellbooks really switch up how you can play though (Scanners notably turning Witch into a powerhouse postgame dpser).

It's probably about the same length, with a more annoying path through the postgame than the linear and straightforward postgame in DT2.ĩ9% of the skills and classes retain similar function to DT2 with minor buffs and nerfs, if not staying completely identical, and all the strong strategies from DT2 still apply, so you can honestly get by using any DT2 guide. it's not going to be pretty, but you can still get away with repeatedly cross referencing the jpwiki via google translate. Most of the skills are in Katakana - if you can read the katakana, you should be fine to handle most classes. If anyone can answer anything I'd be much obliged. So, now I want a little info from anyone who knows or has played it.ġ: is there any way to understand what you're doing? I played the original dungeon travelers in Japanese and got halfway through the game before I could no longer figure out what the skills do with trial and error, would I have the same problem here? Can Google translate translate the skills well enough? I'm willing to go as far as I need to play.Ģ: how long is the game? dungeon travelers 2 was real long when all was said and done, is this the same? I've heard it feels more like an expansion to the previous game rather than a full game on it's own, is that referring to the length or just that it's more of the same?ģ: this is a long shot, but are there any English guides for the game as far as skills and classes go? (In an attempt to not Google translate everything) Alright friends, I've given up on the idea that we'll ever get a translation, official or otherwise.
